Dr. Irshad Edavana is a consultant ophthalmologist and cornea specialist with more than eight years of clinical and surgical practice. He holds an MS in Ophthalmology from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, a DNB from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, MRCS (Edinburgh), FRCS (Glasgow), and FICO. He completed a fellowship in cornea and phaco-refractive surgery at MM Joshi Eye Institute, Hubli.
He has performed more than 10,000 phacoemulsification surgeries and manages corneal transplantation, keratoconus, ocular surface disease, and refractive surgery, including PRK, LASIK, and phakic IOL. He is Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Malabar Medical College, Kozhikode, and Secretary of the Kozhikode Ophthalmic Society.
